Powering Le Potato while flashing eMMC
I am hoping there are still some active people on here that might be able to shed some light on something that I cannot find documented anywhere. When flashing an eMMC module with the Le Potato I know to use the included USB A to USB A cable, which port to use and to hold the uboot button. This all works fine, but I am seeing the error message "low power" while flashing when the flash process fails (which it does 90% of the time). The USB A to A cable is connected to a powered USB 3.1 hub which is powered by a 3 amp supply. What I am NOT doing, and need to know if I can or should, is I am not connecting power to the micro USB port. Is it safe to do connect the micro USB? Am I supposed to?
