How backup EMMC?

Hi all.
Is there a tool that would make a backup of the EMMC memory with LePotatoe?
To be able to reinstall the system with this backup.

you can try gnome Disks utility to make a disc image, but it will probably be size of your
emmc card, i have used it to flash img's to emmc by using its restore img from disks
running on sd card

Hi @jeepthing. I try Disks Utility but EMMC doesn't appear. (I plug LePotatoe with uboot and USB A cable to my computer, this method work on Windows)

I used disks by having ubuntu on SD card which let me see both SD and eMMC, didn't
have connected to PC, had img file on USB drive, is it ubuntu you are trying to backup

I used Odroid boards for a project a few years ago. They sold me a microSD-to-EMMC adapter that was inexpensive and worked well. Two warnings: they've added a warning to the product description that it may not work with some readers, and I was using USB2.0 readers back then. I haven't used it since I got a 3.0 reader (maybe that's what the warning is about?). They now also sell USB-to-EMMC readers. Do not use purchase an eMMC adapter. It will not work. The board itself can act as a card reader. There's is software work going into u-boot to make this happen but it is not finished. You would have to boot off SD card, attach eMMC after power on, run `sudo lc_redetect_emmc`, and dd it that way for now.
