using hardware encoding?

Hi there,

I'm no newb but also no expert, so bear with me.

I installed the official Debian image but as far as I can tell, hardware encoding does not exist for the ffmpeg version it comes with. Is there a precompiled package that has it enabled or a tutorial how to compile it manually? Does ffmpeg support hardware encoding for this chipset at all? Or which program should I use instead?
