Image is working on my end. After performing the sudo update & upgrade is much better but still has a few bugs. Loving my boards very much. I'm currently posting using the new image.
Problem found and solved. The brand new sd card had bad sectors. Now the road is clear. Only one thing. The display signal from the board overshoots the monitor. There is no adjustment to the monitor that can fix this ( auto config, reduse-increase the v-h center. There must be a way to adjust the boards output signal but i cannot find it. Any advice would be more than appreciated
Disable overscan or try tweaking the aspect ratio. Also make sure to set the monitor resolution in software to the correct native resolution of the monitor.
HDMI audio requires some out of tree patches. This was already added to the build system. It will be available on the next image as soon as we finish testing.

Where did you download Raspbian from?
Or can you upload a video of the boot process?

We just tested the image again. There's no problems with it. Can you try reflashing? What tool are you using to flash?

All good. Works like a charm
No sound from raspbian. the volume button is grey-out. Are there any codecs missing ?/
Are you referring to the H5 Raspbian image? HDMI audio?
