Image update
Hi,
i have seen that on the loverpi server from time to time new images appear and i am wondering if it is necessary to use them for the latest updates, or if i update a running system based on an older image, for example by "APT-GET update / upgrade" will have the same result.
Thank you for you help!

@zaphod79 Using apt to upgrade is being worked on. It is not ready yet. We aim to have it completed in this quarter (Q4).
@loverpi thanks for your answer!
In this case it would be helpful to have a kind of changelog to check if for my usage the changes are worth to set up the system once again.
Or is there a not to complicated way to backup the installed stuff and data from the old image and to get it running with the newer image?
@zaphod79 We apologize for bad information. The images for ROC-RK3328-CC are maintained by the Firefly team. Upstream is not ready yet so we do not maintain those images.
@loverpi No need to apologize! That means i should better ask that in the firefly forum. Thanks for the hint, that was not clear to me. I guess i will later link here to that thread.
