Recommended wifi dongle for potato
Hi,
I just received my first first potato after many rpis and am a backer of le frite. Until the mezzanines are available for wireless and Bluetooth i’m Looking for reliable wireless ac wireless dongles that are cheap and work. Every one I have are different Realtek and seam to work on 4.* kernels but don’t seem to initialize on the 3.* kernels that Libre/Coreelec And mbox etc are running. What’s everyone using? Suggestions please

We don't maintain the CoreELEC project so you would have to ask in that forum to enable support for specific WiFi dongles or ask for recommendations. LibreELEC is moving to upstream kernel based on Libre Computer's work but it not yet complete.
I've found this one to work the best out of the box.
Panda N600 Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz) 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter
No real fiddling and works great with the Libre provided images.
I do suggest modding it though. Like all wifi dongles they overheat and die
Oh and this is the heatsink that came included in the Panda
