Server images for the ROC-RK3328-CC
Are there any purely server images for the ROC-RK3328-CC ?? I dont need a desktop environment. I'm focused on using my board as a server. Anyone had any luck with a particular OS? Ubuntu 18.04 arm does not seem to work. I tried flashing the ISO using etcher and have had no luck.

Use the Armbian Bionic legacy kernel 4.4.y version
If ur feeling adventuress, you can also build ur own: Armbian Build Documentation
It looks like that one is a desktop version. I'll give it a try but that is what I am gathering and why I had not tried it out. I'll post back. I think if this does not work then I will get adventurous and build my own. Anyways I'll post back in a bit.
The one on the left, that "doesn't" say: desktop legacy kernel 4.4.y
Is what ur looking for
No dice. I dont see the ethernet port lights lighting up. I'll dig a little deeper but for now it doesn't appear to work
It might be my power source is not strong enough, or it could be the SD card.
Did you sudo armbian-config and set everything up? and for the record, sdcards work on the board, but from my experience making different kernels and such, eMMC is the way to go. If ur going the card route I suggest Sandisk extreme pro or something alike.
Anyway, try armbian-config and go through the steps. They use network-manager by default which for the record I'm not a fan of, but I've not had any troubles in that department. I'm running the board right now as a NAS and using the ethernet port.
My power supply: Input: AC 100-240V 0.3A 50/60Hz, Output: DC 5V 3000mA/3A
This is the power supply I'm using: Link
