Android 9 for Le Potato?

Do you have any ETA for Android 9 for Le Potato board?
Maybe we can arrange a community discussion here on desired functions that can be implemented in the upcoming image?

Android 9 has not been formally released yet but once it is released, we will be working with the atvx team on a ROM for Le Potato.

AOSP 9 has been released by Amlogic. We have sent requests through formal channels for it. We will build images once we receive the SDK.

Thanks. Please make the rom touchscreen friendly, by adding a navigation bar with home, back and recent, buttons. If it is possible to add volume up/down buttons it will be perfect. It should be possible to add a point in settings so that users who do not want the navigation bar can disable it.

Just for information. Approximately how much development time is required from the point of receiving the SDK to release the first stable beta?

We haven't got any news since May. Do you still plan to release Android 9? Maybe any ETA?

We just started playing with AOSP 9. It takes 3 hours just to compile the thing once on a AMD 2700X.

I've noticed that it says in one of the stickys that Android 9 is listed as stable for this board. Has there been any update on an official release for Le Potato?

 the last reply from you regarding Android 9 was on September 16, 2019 You said that the image would be ready shortly. Still we have no updates. As of now there is not a SINGLE Android image which is stable. Each one has bugs. I've purchased my board more than a year ago and since then it is only COLLECTING DUST in my drawer.  The most useless purchase in my whole life alongside with the Rock64 board from Pine64. Despite having quite good specs on paper both boards are basically junk without proper software support...... Not happy at all.

Would be really nice with a status update. Strange to claim there is a stable version, and not a shred of further information for months. Has support for this device beed dropped? Dishonesty on top of broken promises does not make the situation better.
