Creating another linux firmware

Hello Guys

I'd like to know the steps for building a new img.xz file for different SO, I've tried it but keep in mind more kernel modules --I want to create a new one that support docker-ce, kubernetes and wireless keyboards.
Does someone do it?

I made some IMGs to play around with, if anyone is interested. The Distro list so far is: Debian Buster, OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, Void and Crux 3.5. You can find them here.

All of these are headless. If you want a GUI, you will need to go about installing that your self.
