How to boot

This might sound dumb, but I flashed the os  http://share.loverpi.com/board/libre-computer-project/libre-computer-board/image/debian/ on a usb stick. 
I insert this usb stick furthest from the gpio pins.
Then I insert HDMI
And finally I connect the power supply (I'm using the delivered power supply).
And nothing happens (not even a led), am I missing something??

It sounds to me as if you have something that is Dead On Arrival... you should have gotten at least an LED indication.

Try unplugging the USB stick and HDMI and try again.  Then, try it with a different power supply.

The light on the power supply was on, so I thought it was working, but it is the power supply that wasn't working

You need a MicroUSB power supply that is capable of 1.5A at 5V. The markings are power supplies from China are fake so you can't rely on them for meaningful power output figures.

The usb power supply that was delivered with the la frite was broken. Luckily my phone charger is strong enough

The light on the power supply is on (green), but when I plug something in it doesn't power on.
I tried plugging in an arduino, and it also doesn't power on.
