shipping cost refund

Hi,

For the Frite it was mentioned on kickstarter that it would be possible to order additional Frite items and that shipping costs would be refunded provided the order number was on the survey.

Any idea how this is going to work and when I will get my refund.

I am Frite backer 158 and my order for the eMMC is 2828 (it is also on the survey and I mentioned my backer number when ordering)

On kickstarter we were told:

I did so, so I do expect a refund of the shipping costs for my eMMC.

I do understand your guys are busy, but can you please tell how and roughly when this is going to be handled?

How about the shipping cost refund that was promised when ordering accessories.

It is about 1.5 month ago since you wrote that "It is being processed by the fulfillment team"

It is now two months after @loverpi wrotes the above, but still no refund.

Money back? These are professional scam artists.....they don't give refunds! Once they have your money, why would they give you some back? Sorry for your loss, though. They got a lot of people with it, but i doubt they will pull it off next time. Too many know them now.

Make promises on the kickstarter thread, but don't honor them.
Clever to promise shipping cost refund. That way you cannot easily reclaim it through paypal or credit card company.

(and of course the Android image that was promised in the kickstarter project is also never delivered).

Then again, I'll keep on bumping this thread every once in a while, just to make people aware on how they do business.

I mentionned it earlier: Cash flow problem? They can't be bothered to finish fulfilling their campaigns (Missing mezzanine boards for La Frite, missing wifi+BT modules for La frite and Renegade Elite, missing EMMC) AND they didn't refund shipping costs... Then they say in another post that it's not a cash flow problem.

I've no idea, but I keep posting here, so this will hopefully end up high in google if they want to do another kickstarter or someone checks out here here before ordering.

Doesn't help. They are just con artists. Unfortunately that happens every once in a while on kickstarter.

This will be taken care of before our next campaign. It is not a significant amount by any means but require multiple people to coordinate so it isn't a high priority.

I wish I have investigated this supplier before committing to ordering a product from them. They do not reply to emails and I was sent a confirmation on delivery of product somewhere in America when my Company is in South Africa. After numerous emails to them to ask them to explain where this product was delivered, no one has come back to me. I wish i knew how to get them blacklisted or something, to prevent them from scamming others
