Weird sounds and reboots

When i use my board, I can hear strange sounds, like squeaks.
Very similar sounds can be heard when You too much overclock graphics card.
Sometimes i got uncontrolled reboots.

Anyone got same or I'm doing something wrong? Any suggestions?

Like coil whine? That is weird. There is a sensor reading app in the Debian XFCE image that shows the CPU temperature. Share your reading if possible.

I think 65 on idle is a little hot. I get to 60c viewing a YouTube video on Debian XFCE image without  GPU acceleration, so CPU has to work hard into it.
Should look for a way to lower that temperature. I live in the tropic by the way, so it's pretty hot always here.

Do you think that temperature can be a problem?

I think so, but I don't at all have a lot of knowledge specific to these ARM CPUs. PC CPUs don't like that "hotness" though. But this architecture is different. Also we're in the understanding that this sensor is giving correct readings.
As for the reboots, which power source are you using? These boards need a consistent and capable power source to work correctly.

you can try this on the terminal to see the data. Should give you an idea of the max temperature in like a "critical" value. I'm not near my board at the moment to verify the output. Or if this command is available on the images provided right now. Although I don't see why not.

But seems to be 80c the maximum so 73 is ok but high, if it is a max of 80c indeed.

Coil whine can be an issue with the power supply or board component. 70C is hot. We normally like to keep our stuff below 60C for consistent performance.

if i remember its call silicon lottery. One procesor can bee much coller then other. So i got that hot. I use my Mi 8 charger (phone charge normally). Still that "coil whine" little worry me. Reboots for me look like some sort of "short circuit", but i'm not expert.

BTW: Sorry for my English. It could be better.

If you are getting spontaneous reboots, your charger is not OK.
