System Hang in Ubuntu Mate

I have successfully installed Ubuntu Mate on the eMMC board and am able to boot the system. What is strange is that when I open Firefox and have a couple of tabs open, the system will suddenly hang and the keyboard and mouse are frozen. I power-reset the system and everything comes back working correctly. After a while it will freeze up again. Finally, I just decided to try a few things and what I discovered was that if I unplugged the USB plug for my combination wireless mouse and keyboard then plugged it back in, everything unfroze and both mouse and keyboard were working again. I don't know why this occurs, but wanted to let others know.

It may be out of memory and doing a lot of disk IO to swap. We can't really optimized the distro since that's something the distro makers control.

I tried the Ubuntu Mate image and just sitting on the desktop was using around 650mb. Opening a webpage, or really doing anything, made it too slow to be usable imo. The Debian LXDE image only uses half that amount of ram at desktop so was a much smoother experience.

Good to know... Can I easily re-flash the eMMC board with the Debian image?

We should be releasing a new set of images tomorrow to fix 3D and audio tomorrow.
