Process Question

Received my La Frite last month, took a few weeks to get it set up. I downloaded the images when they became available and followed djismGAMING's terrific video instruction on flashing the image to get a running system. A few tweaks left to do, like get the audio running, but I am non-the-less impressed. It should be a useful media center console. I installed the Mate interface, which I understand has memory issues, and now there is a fix for the audio. My question is, should I just download and install the latest XFCE image using djismGAMING's procedure again, or fix the audio as outlined in Update #23 and then use apt to install XFCE? Any preferences?

I think installing the latest XFCE image will be your best bet. Works really good! Remember to flash the latest firmware on the board also. So you can get the boot menu.
