LIRC issues?

Hi all
I've been trying different builds of Libre/CoreElec and all of them seem to have a quirk with my old MCE remotes.
The first keypress after boot seems correct, however, subsequent presses either double press or repeat the previous key and then sends the current key.

Any ideas why this may be? Sorry, my knowledge/debugging of LIRC isn't the greatest

The default ir-keytable repeat/delay timings might need tweaking. If you're using LE and Google fails you; post the Q in the LE forum and ping @hiassoft for advice.
