How to boot an aml-s905x-cc-ubuntu-bionic image from an USB disc. at an android TVBox ?

I would like to play with libre-computer-aml-s905x-cc-ubuntu-bionic-headless-mali-4.19.55+-2019-06-24 image at an android TVBox with 2G ddr3 and s905x cpu. Since this is just a trial , I donot want to flash the image into the emmc of the TVBox. This box has a similar hardware configuration with Khadas Vim1 and a dtb of vim1 is fine for it . Is it possible to launch the image from a USB disc. at u-boot command line ? Of course , the TVbox's uboot is different from LePotato AML-S905X-CC's uboot , and it is interruptable. Regards !
