News on updated firmware/images?

Hi, 
When can we expect new firmware versions (based on newer u-boot releases) and new kernels? Would it be any updated images as well?

Well we were promised android in the kickstarter campaign, but this was never delivered.

I've mostly given up on this. Apparently they are a bunch of con artists.

Why do you say that @FransM ?
There have certainly been goals missed, but as far as I can tell the code to make things work is, as we've been told, added to the upstream kernel versions meaning that plain Linux (of a suitable version) just works. The success people have had with pre-release LibreELEC demonstrates that well - it's prerelease because they're moving to a new kernel as of next release. So it does all work, support is coming, and these guys have been involved in the process of getting it into the kernel mainline.

I'm not sure 'con artists' reflects my experience, but ymmv.

@davisonja have a look at the threads in order support and crowdfunding.
Several people that did not get (part of) their orders.

Shipping cost refund for additional items ordered was promised, and later confirmed but never delivered.
Actually there is n reaction at all on posts in crowdfunding. Seems they just took the money and forgot the support.

Android was promised in the kickstarter and again promised half a year ago, but never delivered (and actually that is why I ordered it).

Anyone interested in buying a board with 16G emmc and the metal housing/cooling ? Make a good offer and it is yours

PS: I live in the Netherlands so offers from there have a bit of preference due to easier shipping and payment
