HDMI Flickering

When I boot up my le potato with the sd card in and HDMI hooked up the screen goes in and out constantly. I have the 2 GB version, an RPi charger, and a Samsung sd card with ubuntu mate on it. The red and green LEDs are solid and the blue keeps blinking. I really need some help getting the HDMI signal to be solid and work thank you in advance for any help.

Do you get any flickering just by flashing this to a MicroSD card and then booting EtherealOS?

I would first like to say I'm an amateur at hardware and am trying my best to do independent research so I don't have to ask a ton of questions. I flashed the link you posted using Etcher and it loads but the HDMI output won't stay on. It's almost like I have to hold the cord in the perfect position for the signal to stay on, which I don't get because I use this cord for my desktop and never have issues with it. I don't know if this is a port issue or if I'm doing something wrong.  Other things to note are the lights on the ethernet port are very dim, it seems like they should be brighter.  I apologize if I'm just a noob missing something simple. Thank you for your time and effort, I hope we can resolve this issue together.

Use Win32DiskImager to flash the card. Which Raspberry Pi charger are you using? Can you take a video with your phone?

I've tried the armbian images and the same thing happens. I've tried a bunch of different images.

There's two things to try:
1) Can you see if the same thing happens on another monitor? What is the model of your ASUS monitor?
2) Can you try to write this image to an SD card? http://share.loverpi.com/board/libre-computer-project/libre-computer-board/aml-s905x-cc/firmware/u-boot-2020-04-r2.sd.bin
Once you finish writing the image, boot the board up, press escape on your USB keyboard repeatedly, and the select EtherealOS. Let us know if you still get a blank screen or if a command terminal appears.

The first time you boot our images (not Armbians), you will get a blank black screen (not no signal) for approximately 3-5 minutes until setup is finished.
Currently, it seems like Linux doesn't support your monitor but we need to verify whether this is fixed in the latest kernel. If this is the case, we need you to send us the edid file of the monitor from EtherealOS (we will tell you how).

Monitor: Asus VG245 1080p 60Hz refresh. The same thing happens when I plug the device into my TV.
2. When I flash the file, then boot and press ESC repeatedly nothing happens. The monitor says no signal for a few, maybe 10 sec, then goes into standby mode awaiting a signal, so not a black setup screen. The cord I'm using works with my PC and monitor fine, I never have a problem with it.

Wait, so with that image nothing shows? That should not be the case since in your video, the boot logo showed up just fine. Are you sure you are using Win32DiskImager? Make sure the verify the write so that you make sure the SD card is not corrupt.
