CoreELEC on La Frite

I tried to install CoreELEC through LOST, but the installer says that installing on USB disk ('sda' option, using either MicroSD card or USB flash disk) is not currently supported, despite what was mentioned in the tweet: "CoreELEC officially supports La Frite and can be installed through LOST! You can now install it to eMMC or any USB drive including USB hard drives."

I just had a chance to test the CoreELEC installation and it works out of the box. I used the firmware:

u-boot-2020-07-r6.bin

After flashing enter the bootloader menu and use the eMMC USB Drive Mode and the eMMC will be available on the host PC. I use Ubuntu and just used the command dd to write the image CoreELEC...LaFrite.img to the "USB" device. Then reboot and it will directly boot into Kodi.

It is easier than that, just press escape, go to LOST, type in coreelec, 9.2.3, and then confirm and it will do everything for you.

9.2.3 is no longer available to install on La Frite from LOST.
Tried ng-nightly and got a black screen, and tried flashing it manually from the website.
