2020.07-rc6 firmware not booting emmc

Hi, I just upgraded my firmware from 2020.07-r4 using LOST directly from the board, to what I supposed is the latest rc6 release. After the upgrade, I get the following message:
** Unrecognized filesystem type **
Foung 4 disks
BootOrder not defined
EFI boot manager: Cannot load any image
172032 bytes read in 5ms (32.8MiB/s)
error: symbol 'grub_calloc' not found.
Entering rescure mode...

I get prompted to grub rescue, no matter if I select Boot or Boot eMMC from the boot menu.

The image was fully functional before the upgrade.

@miguelagve I think this is a regression introduced by grub in Ubuntu and not the firmware update.

I haven't got around fixing it yet, but it seems very likely. I upgraded debian 10 to 10.5 soon before installing the new firmware.
